FOUNDER AND THERAPIST

Kirsten Robinette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, Minnesota, and the District of Columbia. She has gained a variety of experiences through her past employments as a manager at a non-profit crisis prevention and intervention division, a therapist within a community mental health association, private practice locations as a clinician, trainer, and director, and internship at a substance use clinic. Due to this background, she utilizes a variety of techniques in order to support children, adolescents, adults, and couples, to assist them in moving through difficult situations and making desired changes.

Kirsten believes therapy should be accessible and affordable. As such, she is credentialed with Aetna, United, CareFirst, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Maryland Medicaid, and Maryland Medicare. She also works with insurance for out-of-network benefits, as well as offers sliding scale options where necessary.

Kirsten is currently not taking clients whose primary focus for therapy involves grief and loss at this time.

Outside of therapy, Kirsten enjoys video games (currently loving Palworld), spending time with her dog, Sif, and cat, Ryuk, and enjoying the nearby nature.
